You Were Made For Family
Real talk…
Do you ever have this quiet feeling of unfulfillment? Like no matter how grateful you are for the good things in your life, you still feel like something is missing?
Maybe you have personal goals, but have a hard time looking beyond a certain timeframe?
Perhaps there’s an emptiness that gnaws at you, or a question about your identity, but you can’t quite put your finger on it?
You’re not alone, and you’re not crazy. There IS a piece of your puzzle that’s missing!
The truth is, we were made for family. In the beginning, when God poured out His creative magic to construct the universe, His ultimate goal was a family. He said to Himself–He, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,
“Let us make man in our image and likeness.“
We are the only species created in His image. We were created to fit into the center of the Trinity–God’s immediate family. This family unit, this union, is what we are built for.
So, if we are meant to bring “Earth as it is in Heaven,” then the unique gifts we carry are for our family.
But what is our family’s purpose?
Unfortunately, in Western culture, there has been an erosion of the family unit. Selfish ambitions and the pursuit of individual happiness have led to the degradation of the family unit, causing today’s families to be bereft of any concept of a family directive. The push for self-discovery and self-care has created an inability to see beyond our own future.
How can we change this culture? We can start with our own families. We can rediscover the directive of our family government so that our individual purposes in the earth can be realized and fulfilled. Ultimately, we were made for family and union with God, but inside of us, He embedded a hunger to discover deep things just like this.
“It’s the glory of God to conceal a matter, the glory of a king to search it out.” –Proverbs 25:2.
There’s so much more inside of us. By digging into this mystery, according to Proverbs 25:2, our true glory will be revealed. And our true family–God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit–will rejoice with us every step of the way.
At Legacy Development Group, we are fully focused on this objective. We want to help build momentum for this change. Let’s discover our divine family purpose together.
